1 Thessalonians 5:12
Willie J. Binion, Jr., was called by Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel and he accepted the call during 2000 to soon be licensed to preach in 2001 by the AME Zion Church. However, he had little knowledge that in 2002, Jesus Christ would mandate him to found a community outreach ministry to teach Biblical Christ-Centered spiritual, moral and ethical principles to convict and convert nonbelievers and mature believers. Late in 2002, by the conviction and leading of the Holy Spirit, Will and his family (wife Vickie & children) resigned from the AME Zion Church to pursue the mandate.
Being inspired and led by the Lord to study to show himself approved unto God, Will pursued and attained further education with a Biblical Studies Certificate at Liberty University, Institute of Biblical Studies, Lynchburg, VA; received an A.S. degree in Allied Health (May 2002) and a B.S. degree in Health Services (May 2005) from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA. In addition, he received a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in Ethics, Ministry, and Leadership (May 2007) from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA; likewise, finished his doctoral program (A.B.D.) and received an Ed.S. (Educational Specialist) degree from Walden University (April 2011). He also has been blessed to retire after 40 years of employment at a production company.
Today, Willie J. Binion, Jr., a servant of Jesus Christ and God the Father, ordained (2003) and commissioned into the office of apostleship (Romans 1:11, 11:13; 1 Corinthians 1:1, 9:2; Galatians 1:1, 2:8; Ephesians 1:1), by Jesus Christ and God the Father as a light bearer (revelatory teacher: Acts 13:47; I Corinthians 4:1) to the local church, and confirmed by the Council of Elders at “The Power Thereof” Christian Outreach Ministry, is presently functioning in his mandated apostolic ministry overseeing The Power Thereof Christian Outreach Ministry which fulfills “…built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone (Ephesians 2:20).”
